Residents from Claremont address concerns about semis going through the community
ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The Brown County Commission heard concerns Tuesday from residents in Claremont involving semis bringing byproducts from Demkota Beef Plant in Aberdeen. B-H’s Board Of Ed To Refresh District Policies
In a phased approach over the next few months, the Board of Education will retire Britton-Hecla’s current set of policies and replace them with new ones. The process of reviewing current policies and planning for the adoption of new ones has been underway for most of the 2023-2024 school year, including an investment in a policy service with a school law firm in December 2023.
Two Local Vets TAKE tRIP OF LIFETIME
Recently, a couple local veterans got to take a special plane ride that many others like them have enjoyed previously. Vern Swanson of Claremont and Monty Liknes of Langford were among many vets who were part of the last two Honor Flight trips to Washington D.C. The men toured various monuments, memorials, and perhaps most notably, received a welcome that was beyond their imagining.
