Day 1 of Catch 22: Yavapai Silent Witness Seeks Help Locating Fugitive Kyle Blevins
It’s day 1 of Yavapai Silent Witness’ Catch 22 Program. Today Yavapai County Law Enforcement is asking for your help in locating fugitive Kyle Blevins. In April of 2022 an Officer with the Prescott Valley Police department conducted a traffic stop a for speeding. The vehicle was operated by Kyle Blevins. He was not able to provide the officer with a valid driver’s license. It was discovered that Blevins privilege to drive was suspended, and he was required to have an interlock device in the vehicle. During the subsequent investigation it was discovered Blevins was in possession of narcotic drugs, dangerous drugs, and drug paraphernalia.
Drone footage captures out-of-control pickup truck in Yavapai County
YAVAPAI COUNTY, Ariz. - A dramatic crash involving a pickup truck in Yavapai County has police asking questions this weekend about who the driver was. Caught on drone camera, it shows a white pickup truck swerving out of the way of an ATV driver and then crashing into a fence.
Lithium Battery starts Garage Fire in PV
7/22 In the past 8-days, Central Arizona Fire has responded to two residential fires caused by lithium batteries. Officials say Friday they responded to a home in the area of Alwick Way and Sutton Trail in Prescott Valley after a battery being charged for a Segway caught fire. The homeowner noticed the battery getting hot and unplugged it, but 5-minutes later heard a pop and found the garage on fire. Crews quickly doused the fire, limiting the damage. Firefighters also responded to a house fire recently in which the lithium battery on a skateboard caught fire while being charged.

Since mid-May there has been an increase in social media posts advertising heating and air conditioning services to residents of Sedona and the Verde Valley. Some have alleged that the posts exhibit traits seen in “blow and go” scams that attempt to persuade homeowners to purchase unneeded services.
