A 29-year-old Villa Rica woman was killed in a crash with a tractor-trailer on I-20 in Austell early Thursday morning. Matthew Adams, 48, of New Mexico was driving eastbound in the right lane of I-20, west of Riverside Parkway, when he collided with Carolina Stephanie Figueroa-Mora. Adams and his passenger, 45-year-old Rosa Long of Florida, were not injured, but Figueroa-Mora was pronounced dead at the scene, Cobb County Police report. ...

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Homicide detectives are investigating after a man was found dead outside a crashed car in northwest Atlanta Saturday morning, police say. Around 3:40 a.m., police were called to Fox Street NW in Bankhead, where they found the victim. Witnesses told police that the car sped down the street and crashed into another car, after which the driver ran away.
