Irish Start Season at Winrow Valparaiso Open
Notre Dame's cross country teams opened their 2024 seasons at the Winrow Valparaiso Open, with the women's team securing first place and the men's team finishing second. The No. 3 ranked women triumphed over Purdue by just five points, while the No. 6 ranked men were edged out by Purdue. Reagan Riley led the women with a second-place finish, clocking in at 17:39.8, and Brody Hartley topped the men's race with a time of 17:58.8.
Suspended fraternity returns to campus
After four years of suspension, the Delta Chi Fraternity is finally allowed to reinstate itself on Purdue’s campus. The fraternity was suspended in the spring of 2020 by the Interfraternity Council Judicial Board “for multiple policy violations, including alcohol policy, endangering self or others, and noncompliance with previous sanctions,” according to Purdue spokesperson, Trevor Peters.
