MCFRS Respond to House Fire Wednesday Afternoon
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to the 23300blk of Frederick Rd., near Stringtown Road in Clarksburg on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer, firefighters arrived to find smoke coming from the first floor of a single-family house and discovered a fire in the kitchen. All occupants and pets were safely evacuated, with two dogs being sheltered, and no injuries were reported. We will provide an update if additional information becomes available.
