Prince George’s County Woman Charged With Multiple Counts Of Insurance Fraud
– Attorney General Anthony G. Brown announced that the Grand Jury for Prince George’s County has handed down two indictments charging Rhonda Keisha Powell, also known as Rhonda Keisha Jackson, 38, of Upper Marlboro, Maryland with two counts of felony insurance fraud, one count of theft of property with a value of at least $25,000, and one count of attempted theft of property valued at $100,000 or more.
Police working to determine why body was dumped in Oakton
Fairfax County police detectives continue to investigate the homicide of an unidentified man whose body was found July 20 in Oakton. Around 3:04 p.m. that day, police dispatched officers to the 9500 block of Route 29 in Oakton for a body found in a wooded area. A community member who had been walking on a path in the area noticed the victim lying unresponsive. The adult male victim had obvious trauma to his body and was declared deceased at the scene, police said.

The Angry Jerk’s second location is now open in the former HipCityVeg location at 1300 Connecticut Ave. NW in D.C.’s Dupont Circle neighborhood. Owner Jason Miskiri originally opened The Angry Jerk at 8223 Georgia Ave. in downtown Silver Spring in 2021.
