    Motorcyclist flown to Nashville following Clarksville crash

    CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A portion of Peachers Mill Road was closed Tuesday morning as police handled a crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle.

    According to the Clarksville Police Department, the crash happened just before 3 a.m. on Tuesday, July 2 at Peachers Mill Road and Broadripple Drive.

    Officials announced that a portion Peachers Mill Road would be shut down due to crash, causing traffic to be diverted through a Publix parking lot.

    The motorcyclist was reportedly flown to a Nashville hospital to receive treatment. As of this writing, the extent of his injuries remain unknown.

    Motorists were advised to find alternate routes until the roadway reopens. At 6:56 a.m., officials announced that the road had reopened.

    No other information about the crash was immediately released.
