This will all change throughout the season with its twists and turns, but in the preseason, the Bahamas Bowl projection is ...
Bahamas Bowl Projection
Saturday, January 4 11:00 am, ESPN/ESPN2 Thomas A Robinson National Stadium, Nassau, Bahamas Bowl Affiliations : CUSA, MAC Last Season: WKU 38, Old Dominion 35 OT Preseason Bowl Projection (with predicted final regular season records) Jacksonville State (6-6) vs Ohio (7-5)
The Bahamas Bowl should actually be in the Bahamas this year after spending a season as the Famous Toastery in North Carolina - the stadium in Nassau was under renovation.
Take your pick of anyone other than, likely, the champion from the MAC - it’s later in the bowl season because it takes so long get the logistics together - and Ohio hasn’t been in this since 2017.
There aren't a ton of Conference USA teams to choose from. It won’t be the league champion, WKU was in it last year, so it’ll probably Middle Tennessee or Jacksonville State.
5 teams also in the mix for the Bahamas Bowl
1. Middle Tennessee 2. Liberty 3. Toledo 4. Miami University 5. Bowling Green
