If you are a big peanut butter and chocolate fan these buckeye bars are the perfect no-bake treat for those of us who just can't resist that popular all-time kid's favorite peanut butter cups!

These buckeye no-bake bars are quick, simple to make, and a favorite cookie candy bar-style dessert treat in our home.

Perfect for special events, game days, holidays, and so much more.

This bar is perfect for anyone who loves that peanut butter chocolate combination and then with any chocolate-filled cookies to make the crust, over the top delicious!

My simple instructions to make these bars are step-by-step instructions on how to do them easily with just a few ingredients.

These sure are a big hit at every gathering I bring them to and a perfect treat all year long.

    • Line a 13 x 9 baking pan with tin foil sprayed with cooking oil.
    • Crust:
    • 3 cups crushed chocolate-filled cookies of any kind ( I used peanut butter filled), vanilla wafers, chocolate graham crackers, or regular graham crackers
    • 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter melted
    • Mix and set aside.
    • Filling Layer:
    • 2 cups powdered sugar
    • 1 1/3 cups peanut butter
    • 1 stick butter melted
    • Mix all together and set aside.
    • Chocolate Topping:
    • 2 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips or another good-grade chocolate you like
    • 1/2 cup peanut butter
    • Place in the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl for 1-minute intervals stirring and checking until melted.
    • Stir in the peanut butter ( do this right after you spread the filling on top of the crust,)

    Assembly:

    1. Pour the crumb mixture into the prepared lined pan.
    2. Spread the filling over the crumb mixture.
    3. Pour the melted chocolate over the filling.
    4. Refrigerate for 45 minutes.
    5. Cut into squares.
    6. I store these in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
