Police: 'Blood trail' located near east Toledo home after shots fired
TOLEDO, Ohio — Police are investigating a shooting in east Toledo late Tuesday that led officers to a scene, but not to any injured persons. Man sentenced for murdering 3-year-old in Sylvania
TOLEDO, Ohio — A judge on Wednesday sentenced a man to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the murder of a 3-year-old in Sylvania two years ago. Michael Kitto was convicted last week of aggravated murder, murder felonious assault and endangering children for the death of Declan Hill.
2nd arrest made in West Toledo drive-by shooting
Police have arrested a second suspect in a drive-by shooting Feb. 11 in West Toledo that killed a 20-year-old man. Sean Duhart, 22, of the 3600 block of Willys Parkway, was arrested Wednesday afternoon at his residence and charged with aggravated murder for the death of Michael Bradford-Washington, who was shot several times at Sylvania and Hoiles avenue shortly after 2 p.m. Witnesses told police the victim was heard arguing with someone, either in person or by cell phone, when a car pulled out from a nearby parking lot and someone inside opened fire. Police marked about 20 shell casings in the street during their investigation. Mr. Bradford-Washington later died at ProMedica Toledo Hospital.
