(It’s a debate every Central New Yorker has had at some point: Who’s got the best pizza? This year, we’ll do our best to find out. I’m on a quest to find the best pizza shops in the Syracuse area. Pepper spray goes off during ‘Twisters’ movie at Destiny USA; theater cleared, 1 hospitalized
Syracuse, N.Y. -- A pepper spray canister was set off in a movie theater Tuesday at Destiny USA, firefighters said. When firefighters arrived shortly after 1 p.m., they discovered a canister with a pepper spray substance that was accidentally dispersed, said District Chief Matt Craner, a spokesperson for the Syracuse Fire Department. The incident happened during a 12:30 p.m. showing of “Twisters” at Regal Destiny USA.
