DUNEDIN — Too often, I stay away from a restaurant for way too long. This is somewhat of an occupational hazard, an inescapable part of Life as a Restaurant Critic (along with the occasional bout of food poisoning and a social calendar that makes my head spin). With the mind-boggling volume of restaurants in the Tampa Bay area right now, and more to come, getting back to the spots that caught my attention years ago can take a while.
3-day Asian Street Food and Music Festival announced for Pinellas Park
A special 3-day event, Summer Vibes Asian Street Food and Music Festival is coming to England Brothers Park (5010 81st Ave N) in Pinellas Park this summer. The big food festival takes place August 2-4, from 4pm-11pm on Aug 2, and 2pm-11pm Aug 3-4. Admission is $10 per adult, and kids can join the fun for free. Free parking is also available.

Dunedin business owner hopes city will extend outdoor dining hours
DUNEDIN, Fla. - If you want to eat and drink at bars and restaurants in Dunedin past 11 p.m. on weekdays and after midnight on weekends, it has to be done inside. A city ordinance that has been in place since 2011 said all patrons of any outdoor area "whether located on private property or within the public right of way, shall cause all patrons to vacate the permitted area by 11:00 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday nights, inclusive; and by midnight on Friday and Saturday nights."
