Clemson’s top quarterback target in the 2026 recruiting class announced a decommitment on Tuesday.

The 4-star (Queen Creek, AZ) decommitted from the Arizona State baseball program.

Reynolds was one of two quarterbacks in the 2026 class to pick up June offers from Clemson after an impressive showing at Dabo Swinney’s high school camp the first week of the month. The other was 4-star Brady Hart, who already announced a commitment to Michigan.

Reynolds spent much of that week on campus, working out on two different days at the camp.

“It was awesome,” Reynolds told The Clemson Insider. “I would say they have cool facilities and everything, but it’s just the people there. It’s just a whole lot of love. Everybody’s family. People you want to be around and a whole lot of energy. It’s just awesome to be around all those people. And the environment was just amazing.”

The 6-foot-3, 200-pound quarterback is a two-sport star and looking to play baseball and football at the collegiate level. By rule he is not allowed to communicate with the baseball coaches at Clemson until August.

A limited number of signed footballs from Clemson’s 2022 class are still available.  Get yours while supplies last!  Visit Clemson Variety & Frame or purchase online!
