    Brownell, Bakich, Noonan Get New Deals

    CLEMSON — It as been a busy summer for Clemson Athletic Director Graham Neff.

    Neff has been working with a lot of his head coaches to get them new deals and extensions. Included in those are Clemson men’s basketball coach Brad Brownell, head baseball coach Erik Bakich, men’s soccer coach Mike Noonan and women’s soccer coach Eddie Radwanski.

    The Clemson Board of Trustees Compensation Committee approved the new contracts for each coach on Thursday at Madren Center in Clemson.

    Here is what the Board of Trustees Compensation Committee Approved on Thursday.

    Approved :

    a. Brad Brownell, Men’s Basketball Head Coach

    · Term: 5 years through 4/30/2029

    · Total compensation: increase from $3,000,000 to $3,500,000 (2024-25), $3,750,000 (2025-26), $4,000,000 (2026-27), $4,250,000 (2027-28), $4,500,000 (2028-29)

    · Buyout: 50% of remaining Total Compensation in years 1-2; 37.5% of remaining Total Compensation in years 3-5

    b. Erik Bakich, Baseball Head Coach

    · Term: Add 2 years through 6/30/2030

    · Total compensation: increase from $950,000 to $1,275,000 (2024-25), $1,325,000 (2025-26), $1,375,000 (2026-27), $1,425,000 (2027-28), $1,475,000 (2028-29), $1,525,000 (2029-30)

    · Retention: $200,000 if employed as of 9/1/2024, 9/1/2027, and 9/1/2029

    · Buyout: 100% of remaining Base Salary and Supplemental compensation in years 1-3; 50% of remaining Base Salary and Supplemental compensation in years 4-6

    · Bonus: no changes

    c. Mike Noonan, Men’s Head Soccer Coach

    · Term: Add 2 years through 1/31/2030

    · Total compensation: increase from $440,000 to $600,000 (2024), $617,500 (2025), $635,000 (2026), $652,500 (2027), $670,000 (2028), $687,500 (2029)

    · Buyout: 100% of remaining Base Salary and Supplemental compensation in years 1-3; 75% of remaining Base Salary and Supplemental compensation in year 4; 50% of remaining Base Salary and Supplemental compensation in years 5-6

    · Bonus: Bonus potential increase from $190,500 to $252,500

    d. Eddie Radwanski, Women’s Head Soccer Coach

    · Term: Add 3 years through 12/31/2028

    · Total compensation: increase from $205,000 to $230,000 (2024), $245,000 (2025), $250,000 (2026), $255,000 (2027), $260,000 (2028)

    · Signing Bonus: $15,000

    · Buyout: 50% of remaining Base Salary; no mitigation

    · Bonus: Bonus potential increase from $112,500 to $123,500

    e. Nick Schnabel, Baseball Assistant Head Coach

    · Term: 3 years through 7/31/2027

    · Total compensation: increase from $300,000 to $400,000 (2024-25), $425,000 (2025-26), $450,000 (2026-27)

    · Bonus: bonus potential increase from $20,000 to $45,000

    f. Jimmy Belanger, Baseball Assistant Coach

    · Term: 3 years through 7/31/2027

    · Total compensation: increase from $250,000 to $350,000 (2024-25), $375,000 (2025-26), $400,000 (2026-27)

    · Bonus: bonus potential increase from $20,000 to $45,000

    g. Billy Donlon, Men’s Basketball Associate Head Coach

    · Term: 2 years through 4/30/2026

    · Total compensation: increase from $450,000 to $500,000

    h. Sean Dixon, Men’s Basketball Assistant Coach

    · Term: 2 years through 4/30/2026

    · Total compensation: increase from $285,000 to $350,000

    i. Football Assistant Coach Post-season Bonus Structure updated for all 10 Assistant Coaches.

      • Bonus: changes to reflect expanded CFP structure

    Other Items :

    a. Kelley Hester, Women’s Head Golf Coach (note: do not require BOT approval based on Comp Guidelines.)

    · Term: Add 2 years through 12/31/2029

    · Total compensation: increase from $165,000 to $190,000 (2024-25), $195,000 (2025-26), $200,000 (2027-28)

    · Bonus: Bonus potential increase from $85,000 to $95,000

    b. Dick Bender, Men’s Basketball Assistant Coach

    · Term: 2 years through 4/30/2026

    · Total compensation: increase from $250,000 to $300,000
