One person is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Clermont County Monday night, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.

The crash happened along Bootjack Corner Road just before 7:30 p.m.

OSHP said 49-year-old Christopher Riley Sr., was driving a Dodger Charger southeast on the road when he "failed to negotiate a curve."

Riley Sr. drove off the right side of the road, hit a pole and his car flipped several times, OSHP said.

He was pronounced dead on the scene.

    No other injuries were reported.

OSHP said Riley Sr. did not have his seat belt during the crash.

The crash is still being investigated.
