Wyatt Teller heaps legendary praise on Browns QB Deshaun Watson

Cleveland Browns Pro Bowl offensive lineman Wyatt Teller heaped extraordinary praise on his starting quarterback Deshaun Watson on a recent " Go Long " podcast appearance.  Teller compares Watson's talent to that of the best quarterback in the NFL, Patrick Mahomes.

Teller calls Mahomes a "once-in-a-lifetime guy" but believes that Watson has similar greatness to Mahomes which he says he has seen flashes of.

Browns fans hope that Teller is right.  Watson has started just 12 games since joining the Browns in 2022.  Keeping him healthy is a priority in 2024 to see his true potential.

Watson will turn 29 on September 14.  He threw for a career-best 4,800 yards and 33 touchdowns as a member of the Houston Texans in 2020. Watson has achieved less than half of those stats through two seasons with the Browns. If Watson cannot stay healthy or put up the numbers in 2024, it could be time for the Browns to reevaluate their QB1 position.

Watson, Teller, and the Browns veterans report to training camp on July 23 with rookies reporting the day before.
