According to prosecutors, Coleman participated in a drive-by shooting in October 2021 that killed a bystander, 33-year-old Maurice Barber.

It happened near East 123 rd Street and Fairport Avenue.

Prosecutors said they linked Coleman and several other suspects to the murder.
