On Tuesday, the FOX 8 I-Team reported the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office had filed a motion making the request.

The motion read, in part, “The State of Ohio submits that there are no conditions upon which the defendant can be released wherein the public will be safe… Simply put, police officers should be kept safe from individuals who are known to shoot them to evade capture. Because this defendant has killed to avoid justice once, that fact must be recognized and acknowledged, and he must be held without bail until his trial.”
