    Ranking the top items at the 2024 National Sports Card Convention for under $50

    CLEVELAND — The 2024 National Sports Card Convention is at the I-X Center all week, and for any sports fan, it's an endless maze of cool collectibles and once-in-a-lifetime items being on display.

    Though, many of these collectibles can break the bank pretty quickly. We ranked the most mind-blowing items that you can find at the convention , and I detailed how I chose to spend $100, which became a very enjoyable but almost difficult decision due to how many awesome items were discovered during the show's opening night.

    But what if you're not wanting to take out a second mortgage just yet? There are rows upon rows of great collectibles available, so here's a list of the top items we found that can be had for $50 or less.

    9. Michael Jordan basketball card

    Basketball cards aren't quite as popular, but it's tough to beat a 90s MJ card.

    8. Alex Rodriguez rookie card

    It's also hard to go wrong with a pretty cool rookie card, like this one of A-Rod during his Mariners days as a shortstop.

    7. Stan Musial baseball card

    It's also tough to beat the nostalgia of this era of baseball cards, and Stan The Man is a legend.

    6. Barry Bonds 1987 baseball card

    Yes, it's listed $55, but there's a good chance it can be had for our $50 price limit.

    5. Bob Gibson baseball card

    A card from the 60s of one of the best pitchers to ever pick up a baseball? Sign me up.

    3. George Brett baseball card with a piece of his uniform

    Yes, these cards often advertise "game-worn" jerseys when they often mean they were worn for a few minutes and then cut up, but it's a cool item for fans.

    2. Dwight Gooden signed baseball

    This is a really great item for $50. It's tough to beat the look of a shelf of signed baseballs from some of baseball history's biggest names.

    When is the 2024 National Sports Card Convention at the I-X Center?

    The '24 NSCC will be at the IX Center in Cleveland between Wednesday, July 24 and Sunday, July 28.

    Tickets for 2024 National Sports Card Convention at the I-X Center

    Tickets for the NSCC are available for $30. Early-entry tickets for all five days can be purchased for $149.99.
