The Cleveland Browns are trying to figure out their next move in terms of future stadium upgrades or new construction.  Their current home, Cleveland Browns Stadium, was built in 1997 and was renovated 10 years ago. There has been talk about building a new stadium in Cleveland, perhaps on the waterfront.  Along with that talk was the debate on whether a new stadium should be a dome.

GM Andrew Berry took a side in the dome vs. no dome debate at training camp, and his comments may surprise some fans.  He believes a dome is the better option for fan comfort.  Berry quickly said that whatever turns out to be the final decision would be fine, but he seems to be pro-dome.

Hard-core Cleveland Browns fans do not believe the team should play in a dome stadium.  They believe the adverse weather including rain, wind, and snow conditions is part of what defines Cleveland Browns football.  Others believe as Berry does that a dome makes more sense.
