Cleveland Browns running back D'Onta Foreman was placed on a backboard and carted off during the team's practice on Thursday morning.

Foreman suffered the injury during a punt drill, leading to immobilization and transport in an ambulance from the team facility.

The severity of Foreman's injury remains unclear, but the Browns released a statement indicating he has movement in all of his extremities.

The situation is understandably concerning for both the player and the team.

Foreman, who signed with the Browns on March 22nd, was expected to provide valuable veteran depth to an already formidable running back room led by Nick Chubb.

Over his six-year career, which began with his draft out of the University of Texas, Foreman has played for the Houston Texans, Tennessee Titans, Carolina Panthers, and Chicago Bears.

In 2022, he led the Carolina Panthers in rushing yards, amassing 914 yards and delivering his best regular season performance to date.

Foreman is set to reunite with Deshaun Watson this season, marking their first time playing together since their tenure in Houston.

While the injury is a serious concern, there is hope that it may not be as severe as it initially appears.

The Browns and their fans will be anxiously awaiting further updates on Foreman's condition as the team prepares for the upcoming season.
