CLEVELAND (WGHP) — A scary scene took place at an NFL practice on Thursday as a player was airlifted to the hospital after taking a blow to the head.

D’Onta Foreman, who currently is a running back for the Cleveland Browns, was airlifted to a hospital in Virginia after taking a blow to the head in practice that resulted in lower neck pain, according to the Browns.

Emergency action procedures were followed to immobilize Foreman and he was taken to a hospital for further evaluation.

The Browns say that Foreman has movement in all his extremities.

Foreman, 28, played for the Panthers in 2022 and played a key role in their run to nearly making a playoff berth under interim head coach Steve Wilks with several 100-yard rushing games.
