Jerry Jeudy: A Fresh Start But Has Fantasy Baggage

Many people have hyped Jerry Jeudy as the next talented receiver in the NFL and fantasy. However, since joining the league, he has been a disappointment, especially in fantasy. Jeudy was targeted 87 times last season and made 54 receptions for 758 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Jeudy played 16 games last season and only had one WR2 (WR13-24) finish, which was in the last week of the season against the Raiders. He failed to reach 100 yards in a single game last season, even with a decent yards per catch (14.04). Jeudy has not had a season where he's put it all together.

Those stats were decent for a receiver with a declining Russell Wilson throwing the ball to him. The Broncos, now in Dead Cap hell, had to save money, so they decided to trade Juedy to the Browns for two late-round picks.

Now, Jeudy has another declining quarterback, Deshaun Watson, throwing the football to him. Jeudy has potential, but excluding Amari Cooper and a mediocre Elijah Moore, the Browns' wide receiver depth isn't great. He could finally break out as a Cleveland Browns, and it is worth the risk to draft him, but do it in the later rounds of the fantasy draft, or don't do it at all.

Our consensus projections for Jeudy in the 2024 season would be 62 receptions, 805 yards, and 4 touchdowns.
