WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. — The Cleveland Browns should be snug in their own beds in Northeast Ohio on Friday night. Their time in West Virginia will have come to an end by then.

Before that, the Browns have one final practice to get through at The Greenbrier. They'll conduct that practice starting at 9 a.m. Friday, with the plan to hold a full practice — not likely with full pads — before heading home.

After a full-padded practice on Thursday that included some very serious injury concerns , the expectation will be a less-physical practice to wrap things up in West Virginia. Head coach Kevin Stefanski, though, said Thursday the plan was to get into a little more game situations, including two-minute drill, before going home.

Follow here for what transpired on the Browns' final day down on Country Roads.

Rest days for Deshaun Watson and Joel Bitonio

On the seventh practice day, both quarterback Deshaun Watson and left guard Joel Bitonio took rest days. Watson had thrown on all six of the previous practices, while the 11-year pro Bitonio had also worked over those same practices.

Both are expected to be back on the field Sunday when the Browns hold their first training camp practice of the year at their Berea headquarters.

Kevin Stefanski: 'We'll work through' if another safety will be needed

The Browns have taken some injury blows over the first seven practices. One position that has been hit hardest has been at safety.

While Rodney McLeod returned to practice on Friday after two days out, they still were missing two key reserves at the position. D'Anthony Bell has spent all camp on the physically unable to perform list with a shin injury, while Ronnie Hickman was out Friday after leaving Thursday's practice with a leg injury.

Stefanski wouldn't confirm if Hickman's injury was a hamstring or not. Nor would he say for certain if the Browns would need to sign a safety to provide depth, at least next week.

"We'll work through all those things again with some of these injuries," Stefanski said. "We want to see how they respond over the next 24 hours and then make decisions like that."

Shelby Harris back in Cleveland after injury

One key Browns player who wasn't seen for the last few days of camp in West Virginia was defensive tackle Shelby Harris. He was not on the field the final three practice days, dating back to Tuesday.

Harris went back to Cleveland early due to the injury. However, Stefanski indicated after Friday's practice that Harris was "working through some things, but he'll be back."

D'Onta Foreman back with Cleveland Browns after trip to hospital

The Browns officially announced Friday morning that running back D'Onta Foreman had returned to the team after being taken by helicopter to a Roanoke hospital Thursday after a hit to the head during a punt drill. X-rays and CT scans were negative, and he was released from the hospital later that day.

"Obviously, very, very scary, and credit to our medical staff," Stefanski said after Friday's practice. "You're always being cautious there, and they followed protocols and made sure that he got great treatment right there. Saw him yesterday when he got back, was tired. So he's getting plenty of rest, but scary and thank God he's OK."

Elijah Moore leaves after collision with Denzel Ward, being evaluated for concussion

The one downer to the final day at The Greenbrier came during 7 on 7, when wide receiver Elijah Moore had to leave after a collision with cornerback Denzel Ward. Stefanski said after practice that Moore was being evaluated for a concussion.

Moore was running a crossing pattern when Ward jumped the route to try and break up the pass. In the process, he knocked Moore down.

Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah again among Browns players not practicing

There were a handful of players who were working off to the side with a trainer at the start of practice. One of the most notable was linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, who was there for the second day in a row.

Stefanski said after practice it was simply a case of "normal nicks and bruises of camp is kind of what happens as you get a few days into it. So all things we'll work through" with Owusu-Koramoah. He also wouldn't specify what the reason why safety Ronnie Hickman left Thursday's practice and was working to the side on Friday.

The complete list of players includes:

    • Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (unknown)
    • Nyheim Hines (knee/PUP)
    • Nick Chubb (knee/PUP)
    • Ronnie Hickman (leg)
    • D'Anthony Bell (shin/PUP)
    • Jedrick Wills Jr. (knee/PUP)
    • Myles Garrett (ramping up)
