BEREA — The Browns hope to be able to practice in front of their fans for the second time this training camp on Tuesday. The weather forecast, though, may prevent that from occurring.

The third training camp practice in Berea is starting at the unusual time of 4:15 p.m. The local forecast as of noon, according to weather.com , was for a 75% chance of thunderstorms, which is down from the 100% chance of storms in the 3 p.m. hour when the gates would open for fans.

The Browns would move the practice inside their field house if the weather becomes an issue. However, practices inside the facility are closed to fans.

Only six practice this training camp were opened up to fans, with the first having been on Sunday. The next one is Thursday at 2 p.m.

Follow along here for updates, rain or shine, from what happens on day 10 of Browns training camp:

Late practice time a chance for Browns to prepare for opener

The 4:25 p.m. start time for Tuesday's practice had a specific reason behind it. It's the same time the Browns' preseason opener Saturday against the Green Bay Packers, as well as the regular-season opener Sept. 8 against the Dallas Cowboys,

"So, we want to just get the body clock used to a 4:25 p.m. start," Stefanski said. "That’s Week 1 for us, home against Dallas at 4:25 p.m. So, we scheduled the two preseason games at 4:25 p.m. Wanted to get practice here at 4:25 p.m. Obviously wanted to be outside and acclimate to the heat, but Mother Nature had a different idea.”

Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah back on practice field for Cleveland Browns

The Browns got a big returnee from the group of walking wounded on Tuesday. Linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, who had been sidelined for the last four practices, was back on the field.

Defensive lineman Sam Kamara also was back on the field. Kamara left practice Monday with an undisclosed injury.

Linebackers Jordan Hicks and Tony Fields II remained out with undisclosed injuries. Fields has now missed five practices, while Hicks has been out two-plus practices after leaving Sunday's practice.

Other players not on an injured list but not practicing Tuesday: safety Juan Thornhill (illness), running back D'Onta Foreman (head injury), guard Wyatt Davis (illness), guard Michael Dunn (undisclosed), Shelby Harris (undisclosed) and Smith (knee contusion).

Za'Darius Smith 'sore' but 'OK' after left knee contusion

The news was reasonably good for defensive end Za'Darius Smith, who was carted off the practice field Monday. The initial diagnosis of a left knee contusion was confirmed.

“No update, I think he’ll be OK," head coach Kevin Stefanski said prior to Tuesday's practice. "He banged knees there with (running back) Jerome Ford. Kind of a weird injury, but ultimately he’ll be OK, but pretty sore.”

Cleveland Browns announce multiple roster moves

The Browns announced, officially, the signing of defensive end Marcus Haynes and linebacker Landon Honeycutt. They also waived wide receiver Jalen Camp and guard Chim Okorafor.

Haynes) is officially in his first NFL season out of Old Dominion. Originally signed by Denver as an undrafted free agent in 2023, he spent part of his rookie season on the Broncos’ practice squad.

Honeycutt is a rookie out of Mars Hill. He was in the Browns' rookie minicamp on a tryout basis.

Cleveland Browns close practice, send fans home

The Browns officially closed Tuesday's practice at just before 3:50 p.m. due to impending severe weather. The Berea area was under a tornado watch until 4:30 p.m.

Cleveland Browns reportedly sign DE Marcus Haynes

The Browns have reportedly signed defensive end Marcus Haynes, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. Haynes was on the Denver Broncos' practice squad last year.

Haynes, 26, has never played in a regular season game in the NFL. He was with the Houston Texans earlier this offseason.

Haynes was signed due to the injury to defensive end Za'Darius Smith. Smith left Monday's practice with what the Browns are calling a left knee contusion,

Green Bay Packers to play starters against Cleveland Browns Saturday

Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur announced to Green Bay area reporters Tuesday morning that he planned on playing his starters in Saturday's preseason opener at the Browns. That includes starting quarterback Jordan Love.

Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski has not yet announced his plans for the game. He is scheduled to speak at 3:55 p.m.

LaFleur did say starters who were injured would not play.
