Cleveland Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman, a former Tennessee Vols standout, is having a solid training camp ahead of his second season in the NFL.

Tillman, who was selected by the Browns in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft, caught just 21 passes for 224 yards last season while playing in an offense that started five different players at quarterback.

So far this summer, Tillman has looked like a player on the verge of a breakout season -- specifically, he's been showing some nice chemistry with the Browns' top two quarterbacks (Deshaun Watson and Jameis Winston).

"I'm excited for Deshaun to be back out there," said Tillman this week. "Obviously he got hurt unfortunately last year, but he is looking good. It feels like he's in the right, so I'm excited for him."

Browns passing game coordinator/wide receivers coach Chad O'Shea told reporters this week that he's liked Tillman's approach to the offseason.

"I feel like Cedric's really attacked the offseason," said O'Shea. "He's done the same here in training camp. He's really worked so hard to again, learn the offense to be better. Fundamentally, you can see a player in year two how he's improved. But he's improved because of how he's approached it. And I can't say enough about his work ethic and what he's done to try to improve every day."

Tillman was listed with the Browns' second team offense on the first depth chart of the offseason. The former Vol, however, is in line to see plenty of action in Cleveland this fall.
