Clay Center Tattoo Shop’s New Apprentice Looking Forward to Leaving A Lasting Mark, Growing As An Artist
Walk The Line Tattoo in Clay Center has a new tattoo artist apprentice. Jay Long has been an artist for as long as they can remember, always doodling whenever they had a chance. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit halfway through their senior year at Clay Center Community High School, Long said they suddenly found themselves with even more free time to draw. This, they said, is when their love for tattoos really stuck.
Grow Clay County Announces First-Ever Sidewalk Art Contest
Grow Clay County announced on July 22nd that they will be having a Sidewalk Art Contest at Piotique this year on Saturday, September 28th, 2024. The contest will take place from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. and be located at the Block of 5th between Lincoln and Grant Avenue in Clay Center. Winners will be announced at 2:30 p.m.
