Federal grand jury indicts 14 members of Thug Riders Motorcycle Club
A federal grand jury here has indicted the Midwest Regional “boss” and 13 other members of the “outlaw motorcycle gang” known as the Thug Riders Motorcycle Club (TRMC). The indictment alleges that the TRMC operated a criminal enterprise whose members and associates engaged in acts of violence like murder, arson and assault. Members also allegedly participated in extortion and identity fraud.
Man rescued after tree standoff in Dayton
DAYTON, Ohio – Dayton first responders were called to an unusual rescue situation Tuesday when a man climbed a tree and made suicidal threats. Police and fire crews responded to the scene where they found the individual high in a tree, exhibiting erratic behavior. After a nearly two-and-a-half-hour standoff, authorities were able to de-escalate the situation and persuade the man to climb down safely. He sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.
