Mondays weekly

11:30 a.m. – Bosque County Senior Services / Meals on Wheels Program serves meals to people aged 60 and up on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in the Family Life Center at 300 North Main Street in Meridian. To sign up for meals, call (254) 435-2930. 7 p.m. – Scouts USA Troop #376 meets every Monday at the Cub Scout Hut located at 215 West 9th Street in Clifton. Teenage boys and girls are welcome. Tuesdays weekly

9 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. –The Clifton Clothes Closet is open at 315 Live Oak, the corner of Live Oak and North Avenue E. Bring proof of Bosque County residency (waterbill or electric bill). Clothes for all ages. Visits limited to once a month. 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. – The Golden Gatherers meet for food, fun, and fellowship at the Memorial Library located at 201 North Main Street in Meridian. All people aged 60plus, including veterans, are welcome to play games, socialize, and enjoy a potluck meal. Attendees are encouraged to bring a side dish or dessert, or they can bring their own meal. 5 p.m. - 6 p.m. – Circle of Hope Al-Anon meets to provide support for families and friends struggling with the effects of another one’s drinking at Trinity Lutheran Church in Clifton. Thursdays Weekly

12 p.m. – Bosque County Senior Services / Meals on Wheels meets at the Baptist Church Fellowship Hall at 152 4th Street in Walnut Springs at 12 p.m. For more info, contact Project Director Susan G. Baker at (254) 435-2930. 12 p.m. – The Bosque County Rotary Club meets for its weekly lunch meeting at the Clifton Civic Center. 6:30 p.m. – Clifton Celebrate Recovery will meet at First Baptist Church in Clifton. Sponsored by the First United Methodist and First Baptist Churches, this meeting is a Christ-centered recovery group for any of life’s hurts, hang-ups, and habits. All are welcome.

First Thursday Monthly

6 p.m. – The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #8553 will meet at the VFW Hall at the left side of the American Legion Post's building at 401 East Second Street in Clifton City Park.

Second Thursday Monthly

6 p.m. – The American Legion Post #322 will meet at its post in Clifton City Park.

Third Friday Monthly

6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. – The American Legion Post #322 holds its hamburger night at 401 East Second Street in Clifton. Proceeds benefit its scholarship fund. The supper is held every third Friday of the month, except in November and December.
