CLINTON TOWN, NJ - The Town of Clinton has announced "The Veteran Banner Program." The mission of the Veteran Banner Program is to place banners honoring veterans, living or deceased, who have served in any branch of the United States Armed Forces, on banners throughout the Town of Clinton.

The Veterans Banner Program is proud to offer the opportunity to recognize the servicemen and women who have bravely served our country.  Any veteran that lives or has lived in the Town of Clinton may be sponsored by a banner.

CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TAPINTO.NET NEWSLETTER

To sponsor a veteran for their own banner, fill out an application form, and send in a photo of the veteran, as well as information on their branch of service, the dates they served, honors received, and any other details relevant to their service.

The cost of sponsoring a veteran for a banner is $182.50. Each banner will have a “life” of three years. After three years, the banner can be kept up for an additional cost or given to the sponsor to keep. All funds go into the production of the banner.

To sponsor a veteran for this program, please send a completed application found here https://www.clintonnj.gov/veterans to Councilmember Nick Bruno at nbruno@clintonnj.gov or Business Administrator Rich Phelan at rphelan@clintonnj.gov.

Applicants can also submit an application directly on our website at https://www.clintonnj.gov/veterans . Payment must be received by the Town via the submission deadline.
