‘Microdosing Shruumz’ recall linked to illnesses in MN
ST. PAUL, Minn. (FOX 9) - Various products marketed as magic mushroom products have been linked to more than 70 illnesses throughout the U.S., with two occurring in Minnesota. According to a U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recall, Diamond Shruumz-brand products, including microdosing chocolate bars, infused cones and extreme gummies have been recalled, and should no longer be available for sale. The products have previously been available online, and at a variety of retail locations such as smoke/vape shops, and retailers that sell hemp-derived products such as CBD or Delta-8 THC.

At Least One St. Cloud Area School Will Offer Boys Volleyball in 2025
The Minnesota State High School League approved boys volleyball as a high school sport last year. The first season of boys high school volleyball as a full fledged sport in Minnesota will be during the 2024-2025 school year. The season will be offered in the spring of 2025. Cathedral Activities Director Emmett Keenan is a former MSHSL board member and active participant within the league. He says the largest interest in the state in the sport is in the Twin Cities metro where enrollments are larger and the following appears greater.
Numerous New I-35 Ramp Closures To Impact Travel In Duluth
Recently, the Minnesota Department of Transportation announced an I-35 bridge rehabilitation project in Duluth that would impact motorists for an extended time. The $13 million project began on July 8 with lane closures near the Duluth tunnels, and it's expected to continue through September 2024. The project will then take a break before resuming again in the summer of 2025.
