Popular barbecue joint Rib-It-Up is closing its doors permanently, according to a post on its social media pages on Friday, July 12. If you’ve ever driven past Rib-It-Up at 830 1st Avenue North in Birmingham, you probably remember the mouthwatering smells emanating from the one-story barbeque joint. On Day 2 of the 2024 MLB draft, the Miami Marlins selected Alabama Crimson Tide third baseman Gage Miller with the No. 92 overall pick.
