Local motel raid uncovers weapons, drugs, and cash, police say
Police in East Greenbush discovered weapons, drugs and cash at a local motel resulting in multiple arrests, following an investigation into narcotic sales. A traffic stop was conducted by K9 Officer Josh Witko and his partner, Bear. According to police, Canine Bear alerted the officer to the presence of narcotics leading to a search. Police recovered 193 grams of crack cocaine, 2 grams of crystal meth, 8 MDMA pills and over $10,000 in cash. The vehicle was seized during the arrest.
Wynantskill man charged with unlawful surveillance of female coworker
Selkirk, NY (WRGB) — A Wynantskill man has been arrested for allegedly recording a female co-worker by hiding a camera under her desk, according to Bethlehem Police. Christopher R. Salisbury, the owner of Salisbury Pro Sealers on Elm Avenue, has been charged with unlawful surveillance, a second-degree, Class E felony.

Fatal Crash: 31-Year-Old ID'd As Victim In Kinderhook
The incident happened around 8:15 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, in Columbia County. An investigation determined that a motorcycle driven by Schenectady County resident Randall D. Man arrested in connection with Albany fight involving a glass bottle
ALBANY, NY (WRGB) — A man was arrested in connection with a Monday night assault on Morton Avenue in Albany, police say. A 21-year-old Albany man was charged in connection with an assault around 8:05 p.m., after police responded near Clinton Street and Morton Avenue for reports of a fight. According to police, a 27-year-old male with a laceration to his arm and bruising to his head and stomach was found at the scene. He was treated on scene by EMS and taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
