Miranda Maverick dismisses Tracy Cortez 'making all the excuses' for Rose Namajunas loss
LAS VEGAS – Miranda Maverick doesn’t want to hear Tracy Cortez’s excuses. The pair were originally set to meet inside the octagon at Saturday’s UFC on ESPN 60 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. However, a late lineup shift saw Cortez get bumped up to compete a week earlier against Rose Namajunas in the headliner of UFC on ESPN 59 in Denver.
Fallon PD Takes the Lead in Battle of the Badges Blood Drive
Another successful Battle of the Badges Blood Drive. According to Shannon Perez and Fallon’s Ladies Behind the Badge, who coordinated and volunteered for the event, the Fallon Police Department made 96 pledge donations, with last year’s victors, the Churchill County Sheriff’s Office, following closely behind with 80 pledge donations. The event drew a total of 159 donors and yielded outstanding results of 101 Whole donations and 26 Power Red donations, which will save 367 lives.
