UC volleyball star back at Olympics, aiming for second gold medal

Thompson was part of Team USA’s first gold medal-winning indoor volleyball team in team in Tokyo. Three years later, she’s preparing for Paris and another chance at proving she’s the best in the world.
Reds hold moment of silence to honor late radio legend Jim Scott
CINCINNATI (WKRC) - The Reds are back in town for their series against the Detroit Tigers. Before the game, the team took a moment to honor the late radio legend Jim Scott. CINCINNATI – The Basketball Tournament (TBT) – the $1 million, winner-take-all summer basketball event broadcast live on FOX Sports – will see the return of Nasty Nati, a Cincinnati alumni team. Nasty Nati will host the Cincinnati Regional, with games played at Fifth Third Arena from July 19-23. Nasty Nati, the top seed in the Cincinnati regional, is organized by former Bearcat Kevin Johnson and coached by Cashmere Wright. The roster includes Jarron Cumberland, the son of Scott and Cheryl Cumberland, formerly of Hillsboro. He is a graduate of Wilmington High School.
