Why this is the preseason College Football Playoff National Championship Projection

Ohio State and Georgia will be the two best teams in college football by far, they’ll steamroll through the season, and despite the month-long journey that will be the expanded College Football Playoff, they’ll make it here in what should be one of the best matchups in CFP Championship history - brief as it has been.
- Georgia will have an easier time of it. This should be its third game in Atlanta in its last four, winning the SEC Championship, and then getting a spot in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, and then following a semifinal in Miami Gardens, making it back to Mercedes-Benz for the national title and a shot for its third title in four seasons.
- Ohio State will have a few fights on its hands. It’ll have to beat Michigan twice, and then come the real battles having to take down Texas in the Rose Bowl before battling through Alabama in the Cotton. It’ll be battle-tested, and …
