Arkansas unemployment rate declines, sets records in latest agency report
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The latest report from the Arkansas Department of Commerce shows that unemployment has dropped in the state. The Friday report showed the June unemployment rate was down to 3.3%. This represents a one-tenth percent drop after several months of unemployment in the state at 3.4%.
Little Rock gears up for Rock City Margarita and Great Arkansas Beer Festival
LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — Little Rock will host their Rock City Margarita Festival & Great Arkansas Beer Festival July 19 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Participants will receive a sampling cup and be allowed to visit multiple vendors to sample as many margaritas, beers, seltzers, and wines as they want.

Saline Memorial Hospital Opens UAMS Milk Bank Depot
July 19, 2024 | LITTLE ROCK — Saline Memorial Hospital, in support of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Milk Bank, has opened a milk depot in Benton. The new milk depot is a designated space for women to donate milk, which will be sent to the UAMS Milk Bank for screening, pasteurization and nutritional analysis. After processing, milk will be sent, according to need, to hospitals throughout Arkansas.
