Arkansas and Illinois to play on CBS, Thanksgiving Day in Kansas City
FAYETTEVILLE, Arkansas — Arkansas and Illinois will meet on the hardwood on Nov. 28 (Thursday) at Kansas City’s T-Mobile Center with tipoff set for 3 pm (CT). The game will be broadcast live on CBS and streamed on Paramount+ as a part of their Thanksgiving Day sports programming.
Brady Rhodes Set as Special Guest August 27th at 67 Gas & Grill in Emmet
One of the most popular singers in the Ark-La-Tex will be the special guest at the 67 Gas & Grill in downtown Emmet August 27th. Brady Rhodes will be headlining the show. The Gas & Grill is very fortunate to get Rhodes as he is generally very busy singing at revivals during the summer and just happened to catch him right. Rhodes usually makes a guest appearance during the winter and everyone is excited he will be at the Gas & Grill the 27th. The program starts at 6pm and continues until 7:30pm. The Gas & Grill Band will be on hand as well as all the regulars. Admission is free but most people come early to enjoy the great food. We got wind last week of an apparent sale of the former Central Primary School property. Yes, there is signage on the perimeter chain-link fence saying “SOLD”, but at last check Tuesday morning there had not been a deed recorded at the Clark County Circuit Clerk’s Office. We also asked Arkadelphia Public Schools Superintendent Nikki Thomas about the sale. Her response: The sale is pending. We’ll continue checking real estate records and hoping that 1) the school district may soon rid itself of this asset, and 2) the buyer has a solid plan for the property that will benefit Arkadelphia.

Quebedeaux Named President of Baptist Health Regional Hospitals
