2025 5-star TE Linkon Cure has announced his commitment date

It’s been a busy summer for Texas A&M on the recruiting trail, as new head coach Mike Elko has already landed 15 commitments in the 2025 recruiting class , as three-star wide receiver Tristan Norman became the newest member of the cycle earlier this week.

With new offensive coordinator Collin Klein taking over the Aggies’ offense this coming season, the tight end position has become even more important to the future game plans in Klein’s system, both in the running and passing game.

Already landing a commitment from 2025 four-star tight end Kiotti Armstrong, Elko and his staff still have their eyes on another top ranked prospect at the position, as five-star tight end Linkon Cure.

Returning to College Station for an official visit on June 7, Cure will now make his final decision on Monday, July 1, choosing between Oregon , Kansas State, Kansas, and Texas A&M, as the Wildcats remain to the favorites while the Aggies are right behind them in the pecking order.

Heading into his senior season, Goodland, Kansas native Linkon Cure has continued to rise in the ranks due to his elite athleticism. Standing at an imposing 6-6 and 220 pounds, he possesses a ton of upside in the passing game as a jumbo wide receiver in high school. He can consistently separate off the snap and utilize his large catch radius on the boundary.

According to 247Sports, Cure is currently positioned as the 26th-ranked prospect in the 2025 cycle, the second-ranked tight end, and the second-ranked prospect in Kansas.
