Texas A&M had a great day of recruiting on Tuesday.

It's all positive vibes in College Station after the Aggies brought in two blue-chip commitments in edge rusher Marco Jones and defensive lineman Chase Sims .

The moves bolster future defensive lines for Texas A&M, whose 2024 squad could have the top defensive front in the country.

Jones commanded a strong list of suitors. He chose the Aggies over national powerhouses in USC , Michigan and Texas . His new potential teammate has a good list of top schools as well.

Sims chose the Aggies over 2023 national runner-up Washington , LSU and TCU .

Elko's list of 2025 commitments is among the best in the country for this cycle. 247Sports' No. 4 quarterback, Husan Longstreet, leads the Aggies' No. 5 ranked class.

The Aggies have been one of the more talented teams in the SEC in recent years. Early returns indicate that could continue for the foreseeable future.

Texas A&M has College Football Playoff aspirations in 2024. They'll look to make that goal attainable with a signature win opportunity against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish to open the season on Aug. 31.
