With 18 commitments so far, Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class is already contending for the No. 1 spot in the overall rankings if several prospects fall the Aggie’s way this month. One of A&M’s 2025 offensive tackle targets this weekend will reportedly announce his commitment on Saturday.

Heading into his senior season at Horn HS in Mesquite (TX), four-star offensive tackle Lamont Rogers has been on head coach Mike Elko, and offensive line coach Adam Cushing has been doing everything in their power to sway Rogers towards making College Station his collegiate home.

Standing at close to 6’7″ and 315 pounds, Rogers is dripping with potential. He has played like a man amongst boys during his career at Horn. He mauls defenders in the run game, possessing adequate footwork. His hand placement will continue to improve in pass protection.

Rogers recently unveiled his Top 8 program list, a carefully considered selection that includes SMU, Missouri, Texas , Florida State , LSU , Oklahoma , Tennessee , and, of course, Texas A&M.

He set to commit on Saturday, July 6. It’s hard to see what program sticks out the most, but the Missouri Tigers are the leaders after his official visit to Columbia on May 31. For the Aggies, no matter where he commits on Saturday, nothing is set in stone until national signing day, so his June 13 official visit to College Station is still meaningful.

According to 247Sports Composite, Rogers is currently positioned as the 55th-ranked prospect in the class, the 7th-ranked offensive tackle, and the 13th-ranked prospect in Texas.
