Rock Ledge Ranch is hosting a July 4th family celebration

(Colorado Springs, CO) Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site in Colorado Springs will host a Family Fourth celebration on Thursday, July 4th, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Rock Ledge Ranch is a living history museum on 230 acres at Garden of the Gods Park. The outdoor venue has historic homes, a blacksmith shop, a general store, a barn, a duck pond, and farm animals.

The ranch will have volunteers in historical attire doing demonstrations and hands-on activities to give guests a feel for life on the ranch in the early days.

On July 4th, there will be special activities, including carnival games in the barn, patriotic music, and old-fashioned soda & treats for purchase.

Visitors are welcome to bring a picnic and enjoy lunch by the pond or at the picnic tables near the Orchard House.

Family Fourth admission is $8.00 for adults (ages 18-64), $5 for active or retired military and seniors (ages 65+), $4.00 for youth (ages 3-17), and children two and under are free. Tickets are available here.
