(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services (PRCS) is looking for public feedback on the potential use of e-bikes on trails in the city.

PRCS said currently motorized vehicles including e-bikes are not allowed on many park properties including Trails, Open Space and Parks (TOPS) acquired properties.

Beginning Friday, June 14 until Aug. 4, the public can participate in an online survey to share their thoughts on e-bike access on trails in city parks. The public’s input will help inform the City’s decision-making process on e-bike regulations.

“We recognize the growing popularity of e-bikes and the desire for expanded access on our trail system,” said Lonna Thelen, TOPS Manager. “This public process will allow us to gather valuable input from the community and make informed decisions that balance the needs of all trail users.”
