(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Panino’s, the beloved Italian eatery that began its legacy in 1974 with the Frasca family in Colorado Springs, is celebrating its 50th anniversary this weekend.

Bobby Lashwood, Co-Owner of P74: The Downtown Panino’s told FOX21 News on Thursday, June 19, that its 50th-anniversary celebrations are scheduled for Saturday, June 22 beginning at 11 a.m. at the Tejon location, only. Until 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, the downtown location will be offering 50% off the top 10 best-selling menu items as a ‘thank you’ to the community for its support. There will also be cocktail specials and possibly discounts on pizza.

FOX21 also reached out to Patrick McArdle, the General Manager of the westside location on 8th Street, who said that its celebration plans are still in the works but that a date and details would be announced soon.

Back in December of 2023 and as part of FOX21’s ‘ We Are Colorado Springs ‘ week, Reporter Maggy Wolanske did a special on the Frasca family and the legacy of Panino’s, which can be viewed in the video player above.

P74: The Downtown Panino’s is located at 604 North Tejon Street, and the westside restaurant is located at 1721 South 8th Street. There is also another location in Colorado, located in Fort Collins.
