    Pioneers Museum reopens after year-long restoration project

    (COLORADO SPRINGS) — After a year-long project the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum (CSPM) is set to reopen on Saturday, July 13 with an event full of activities and entertainment in downtown Colorado Springs.

    The event is scheduled for Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will include; a petting zoo, various musical acts, and demonstrations and activities with many organizations across Southern Colorado.

    “After this extensive and transformative capital project, we are thrilled to welcome back the community to their local history museum. We are looking forward to showcasing and celebrating an updated visitor experience at the CSPM,” Matt Mayberry, CSPM Director said.

    The grand reopening will feature three new exhibits at the Pioneers Museum. The event is free and open to the public and will have a selection of food trucks on site.
