    Where good news shines

    Colorado prep sports are well-represented at the Paris Olympics.

    Thirteen ex-CHSAA performers are scheduled to compete at the 2024 Games, according to the chsaanow.com website:

    —Valarie Allman, Silver Creek (track and field)

    —Canyon Barry, Cheyenne Mountain (3x3 basketball)

    —Wyndham Clark, Valor Christian (golf)

    —Valerie Constien, Battle Mountain (track and field)

    —Elise Cranny, Niwot (track and field)

    —Anna Hall, Arapahoe and Valor Christian (track and field)

    —Woody Kincaid, Columbine (track and field)

    —Jordyn Poulter, Eaglecrest (volleyball)

    —Sophia Smith, Fossil Ridge (soccer)

    —Mallory Swanson, Mountain Vista (soccer)

    —Haleigh Washington, Clear Creek and Doherty (volleyball)

    —Emma Weber, Regis Jesuit (swimming)

    —Derrick White, Legend (basketball)
