Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers rescued an owl from a tree in Colorado Springs on Tuesday.

CPW officers Travis Sauder and Deme McDowell responded to a call reporting a Great horned owl stuck in a tree. When the officers arrived at the scene they found an own tangled in string dangling upside down in the tree, according to an X post from CPW.

CPW officers couldn't reach the owl but noticed Chase Hubert with Front Range Arborists trimming trees nearby and asked him for help. Hubert climbed the tree and cut the owl loose.
