So far, concert goers are adjusting to the temporary McCormick Park location of 13 Nights on the River.

The concert series switched to the park location this year because of construction going on along the waterfront.

On tap Thursday, Aug. 15, will be The Horn Dawgs, with music running from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The classic rock horn band hails from Scappoose.

“The Horn Dawgs will deliver an all-hits, brass-filled, guaranteed-great set,” according to a 13 Nights on the River release.

And still to come, Hot Club Sandwich will perform Thursday, Aug. 22, and 13 Nights will wrap up Aug. 29 with The Gold Experience.

You’ll find vendors at each Thursday performance, and you’re asked to bring your own lawn chairs or a blanket so you can be comfortable on the grass. Limited park bench seating is available on a first come, first-served basis.

13 Nights on the River is expected to return to its traditional venue, Columbia View Park in St. Helens, in 2025.
