BOZEMAN, Mont. - The Bozeman Fire Department said they responded to a fire coming from a camper van in the Costco parking lot on Friday afternoon. The department said the fire contained itself mostly to the engine area of the van, but the habitable area of the vehicle sustained damage from heavy smoke.
Rural fire crews put out structure fire in Four Corners warehouse Saturday night
BOZEMAN, Mont. - The Gallatin Gateway Rural Fire Department responded to a fire in a warehouse in the Four Corners area outside of Bozeman on Saturday night. The fire department said in a post that firefighters noticed light smoke coming from a second story window when they arrived on the scene.

NHSFR: Azzy Lara, Cash Trexler finish in the top-10 at National Finals
ROCK SPRINGS, Wyo. - The National High School Finals Rodeo concluded on Saturday with the short-go championship round and two Montanans wrapped up the week in the top-10. Columbia Falls cowboy Azzy Lara finished eighth in the nation after he scored a 62 in the short-go. Lara was the Montana individual state champion in bareback. Also finishing in the top-10 was tie-down roper Cash Trexler. The Corvallis roper was good for 10.65 seconds in the short-go and finished ninth overall.
Liam Clancy claims 107th Men's State Amateur on fourth playoff hole
LAUREL — Liam Clancy survived what turned into a marathon of a final round at the 107th Montana Men's State Amateur at Laurel Golf Club. A near two-hour weather delay halted play midway through the final round Saturday. Clancy, a Billings Central and University of Wyoming and Montana State Billings golfer, fired a 4-under par 68 to chase down leader and current Rocky Mountain College golf coach Nathan Bailey (plus-1, 73). The two battled into a playoff, but darkness put that on pause after two holes at about 9:15 p.m.
