    COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Columbia police responded on Wednesday at a mobile home park in the 3900 block of Clark Lane after shots were fired.

The Columbia Police Department wrote on its social media that "At approximately 3:05 p.m., officers responded to the 3900 block of Clark Lane for reports of shots fired. Officers discovered one juvenile male had already left with a non-life-threatening injury."

CPD spokeswoman Jenny Hopper told ABC 17 News at the scene that the victim is at an area hospital and that the other person involved is a female juvenile. Hopper would not confirm if the injuries suffered by the youth were gun-related. No evidence markers were visible to reporters at the scene.

Police stated there's no active threat to the community and that the investigation was ongoing.

At least three Columbia Police Department patrol vehicles, a Boone County Sheriff’s deputy patrol vehicle and an ambulance were at the mobile home park.

A crime scene investigation van arrived at 3:34 p.m.
